Directed by award- winning Choreographer, Karen Hill, Symphony of Light is a group of professional dancers who all share two passions; Jesus and dance. As a faith- based collective, the soul purpose of the company is to use dance and other creative forms to glorify God.
In the original production, Symphony of Light, exuberant dance will bring the book of Psalms to life, relating it to the first five books of the Bible- Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy.
Focusing on “Let there be Light”, we explore Jesus as light in our lives. The light that guides us, that opens our eyes to see and our ears to hear. With passion and action, we can get through the ups and downs in life – focusing on our faith in the living God to guide us through.
The Psalms find words that express our deepest and strongest emotions, no matter what the circumstances. With the spirit of God working in us, every emotion can be reflected in dance.
